For our inaugural season spring has really put on a show this year! We are already enjoying the alps with every lift and gondola that has opened. And there are more to come, because by next month the alpine transport should all be in full force, and we hope, no more snow!
In Switzerland we do not take beautiful sunny days for granted, and when planning a vacation here its a good idea to expect some damp weather and pack accordingly. We hike in all kinds of weather so don’t be worried about missing your chance to walk in the alps, just bring proper gear. Sometimes, even in August, we have snowstorms in the mountains, so you wouldn’t be wrong to pack a waterproof coat, some gloves, a hat and plenty of layers.
