Meet your guide in Stans and visit the largest Baroque style church in the Kanton. Then a quick car ride to a tiny Swiss village and a visit to the local chapel is in order. Next, walk just above the shores of Lake Lucerne on the Burgenstock mountain and literally walk through several Bucolic Swiss farms along the way. It is a peaceful and scenic walk with nearly-constant lake views in a tranquil and provincial setting. We will stop for a visit to a tiny historic chapel along route. We circle back after having a little snack of local specialties.

Where to meet: Meet your guide in Lucerne, outside the main train station under the Arch.
Meeting time: 8:55 am sharp.

Insiders tip: In May the apple trees are covered in blossoms and in June the cherry trees dripping with ripe fruit. Fall reveals changing leaves and the smell of wood smoke and harvest time. It’s hard to pick the perfect time of year.
